I would agree that having AC return on YYC-FRA would be a good thing as it gives further options out of western Canada on AC metal.

There have been a few stories out there on Discover and Edelweiss's plans for their fleet and J cabins. I suspect there are threads on this in the LH forums.

SFO-YYC-FRA is a route I've paid cash for in the past.

Are you trolling, or do you honestly not remember that it's you who has frequently made hyperbolic comments like 6th freedom making up the majority of AC's traffic?
Do some simple math. AC revenues grew 7% last year. For 6th freedom to have represented the majority (>50%) of AC's growth last year, what percentage of total traffic would 6th freedom have had to represent? Pretty much the majority of total traffic, which it doesn't represent, as I have already explained in the past.
No one has ever disputed that 6th freedom is important to AC. It's profitable, it's growing, it's great. They want more of it. But citing your past posts as evidence of its (exaggerated) significance is pretty hilarious.
Perhaps you forget 4Y stepped in to operate the FRA flight when requested to do so by AC due to its fleet constraints.
I have it on very good authority (not front-line staff rumours) that the plan is still for AC to take the route back, and that the arrival of the 781s will be key to the timing.

Probably already reported but it looks like a lot of YVR-YEG frequency are getting Rouged starting in Spring.
Also strangely A220-300 has almost completely disappeared from YOW-YYZ on some days in the summer, I haven't seen this since the peak of A220 groundings.
They are either MAX or A320, although they are likely placeholders.
Wonder where they are flying the A220.

In April there is some Rouge on that route and by May there is none with most of the flights on A220! 😂

Looks like AC is adding some XLR transcon routes, if not temporarily...

Nice update!
I'm flying YYC-YUL twice coming up, but once at the end of April and once during the May gap in service. So I'll miss the initial XLR runs. At least I'm booked in widebodies though.

301 should have its first flight soon and usually get delivered in a couple weeks ~ est. Mid-late March.
Assuming AC need some trainings, certification probably take another couple months. EIS mid-May to early June, they probably want to fly some domestic flights before deploying them on TATL ops.

So far my May YYC-YUL remains. I hope it does. While it is a chance to try out the XLR it also avoided being Lynxed from YYZ-YHZ.
