Im based in CI and did a test transfer of 1000 points and got 500 avios and bonus of 125 credited.

The OH could not see the offer nut has transferred the points anyway, so we will see whether the 25% bonus is added without any issues.

Has anyone had any issues transferring larger amounts of HSBC points to Avios under this promotion? I transferred 400,000 HSBC points and received 20,000 Avios plus the bonus 5000.
I assumed I had just missed a zero when typing in the transfer amount so I made another transfer and again I only received 10% of the amount I asked for plus the bonus.

Just checked the OHs account to see the same 10% on 200,000 points.
Having many issues with HSBC at the moment - no wonder the bank scored so badly on that recent survey!

It would have been nice if there was a message on the screen informing people of this rather than just giving them 10% of what they asked for.

I just spoke to HSBC. There's a maximum transfer amount of 99,998 HSBC points per transaction so if you need to send a larger amount you'll need to make multiple transfers.

I did not know there was a thread here about it, but I can confirm the bonus works, I transferred my point on the 10th of Feb and also got 2 separate transactions, one for the main points and one for the Bonus
