It seems that another Ruby is in the works in Sweden by 2028, Malmö to be more precise.

I’ve read some articles about Regent’s upcoming project in French Polynesia.
I also just noticed that the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa is planning a long closure for renovations.
Does anyone know if they are planning to rebrand it as the Regent Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa?

Hotel Indigo Phuket Nai Yang Beach is positioned as a luxury lifestyle boutique hotel, situated in a prime location on Nai Yang Beach—just 5 minutes from Phuket International Airport and adjacent to Sirinat National Park. The project will feature approximately 170 rooms with a full range of premium facilities, and is scheduled for its official opening in 2030.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Uniprom Hoteli d.o.o. to open Crowne Plaza Budva on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast.
Scheduled to open in early 2026, the 81-room property will occupy a prime spot on Budva’s Slovenska obala promenade, 70 metres from the sea and near the Old Town and marina.
The hotel will feature modern interiors, a sea-view restaurant and terrace, and flexible meeting spaces equipped with advanced technology for business and events. It aims to cater to both business and leisure guests under the brand’s refreshed design concept focused on “blended travel”.
Crowne Plaza Budva becomes IHG’s fifth hotel in Montenegro, joining Regent Porto Montenegro, voco Podgorica, Crowne Plaza Podgorica and Iberostar Waves Herceg Novi.
Globally, Crowne Plaza now operates over 400 hotels, including 92 in Europe and 19 in development, with new openings ahead in Paris, Katowice and Istanbul.

Just had an email from IHG confirming a future stay at the Kimpton Anglers in Miami Beach FL will not qualify for IHG benefits. It is leaving IHG on 4 March and will become Hotel Anglers South Beach. This is a great shame; stayed there a few times and always well looked after.

Voco Sheffield UK is now showing up in IHG searches (although no availability at the moment). Looking at the address and photo, it seems to be a conversion of the Mercure Sheffield St Paul’s Hotel & Spa.

But I heard a leak that there’s going to be a Staybridge Suites Phuket Bangtao from this same owner, and it's set to open in Q4 this year!

It felt like a newer property, but maybe that is due to renovations (?).
