Fast track immigration channels available to Air NZ or *A Frequent Flyers

I don't venture far from Air New Zealand on flyertalk - occasionally I might land on a partner airline forum to get more information related to NZ travellers.

I have a China trip upcoming with Visa considerations for Mrs 40love so delved into the Asia/China forum and randomly browsed into Hong Kong and spotted a thread called "Apply for E-Channel with FF status" Apply for E-Channel with FF status

It seems that FFs can apply to use an e-Channel service in HKG, and the wiki (last updated sometimes between 2017 and 2024) claims that even Air NZ Silver is eligible (?!). Actually even Jade is technically eligible, as long as you've passed through the airport 3 times in the past 12 months immediately before enrolment.

Does anyone know of any other countries where such a thing exists? I missed the Koru Black domestic security express lane trial last November due to a delayed flight but that is something I would really love as a benefit. Keen to know of any other hacks and benefits that are hidden away in other forums on Flyertalk!

I have found Executive Traveller fairly good a pointing out when there are border programs. Things like e-channel are more a border program rather than an airline thing.

There are a range of countries that have something to help international arrivals. If you are going to a country just look up the arrival procedure for the relevant country they will normally explain all the options and programs.

If you are eligible, Global Entry in the US is a gamechanger and comes with TSA precheck so you get expedited lanes both entering and exiting the country plus any internal flights

E-channel in HK is great, especially if you're travelling between Shenzhen and HK. I've had 1-2 trips per year in the last few years so it's well worth the time taken to apply for it.

At Australian airports specifically Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Melbourne you get an express pass logo printed on your boarding pass which allows access to fast track security lanes. Sydney departures is only for those in the business cabin.

Mods. This thread is probably better moved to the Star Alliance forum as it not specific to AirNZ and mainly relates to fast track outside NZ.

To be fair the HK channel only requires that you frequently fly OR you have a "Frequent Flyer Programme membership card issued by airlines which have joined this scheme (please enquire with airlines for details)"

The question wasn't intended to be around *A benefits, but rather what is available to Air NZ travellers in the way of such programmes.
