Air China lounge in Hong Kong

Hi ,

I will be flying to London Gatwick on Air China from Hong Kong in R class . Just want to know what lounge will Air China use in Hong Kong international airport ? If more than one choice , which is the best recommended lounge for me and my wife to spend for 2 hours ?

thank you in advance .

I’ve been to all three several times, albeit it’s been a few years. Nothing special, but I guess I’d pick Air France. It might be crowded.

Do Air China passengers have access to the Air France lounge? Air China is a Star Alliance member, while Air France is in SkyTeam.

You can access SQ and UA's lounges as they are both *A. I have a feeling CA contracts the Plaza Premium lounge as well, but I would go with SQ if your flight's departure gate is close to the main pier, otherwise UA. Avoid PP as it is always a zoo.

Pretty weird answer because AF hasn't had a lounge in HKG for years (if ever) and isn't even in the same alliance, not even a codeshare partner with CA. Uses the QF lounge (which AF has codeshare with).

Is this a typo? Air China does not operate a flight from HKG-LGW. Nor to LHR.

Rednote answer: SQ, UA and Plaza Premium First

Heres a review of reopened UA https://flyformiles.hk/18092/香港國際機場聯合航空貴賓室-united-club-lounge-review . I think SQ looks better

Assume you will be given an invitation card to Plaza Premium (First), and if you just show up with your Air China Business Class boarding pass, you would be able to enter SQ and UA lounges as well by default because you are flying a Star Alliance airline business class flight.

Not sure you actually get an invite to PPF - in CI, we just walk in with our boarding passes.
