As of the 17th of July 2025, I can confirm (From visually seeing it) that the following 777-200ER are equipped with the new premium (W, Recaro) cabin product :
Other likely retrofits that might have taken place during recent 777-200ER maintenance visits, listed here :
F-GSPL 19 Oct / 27 Dec 2024
F-GSPE 2 Jan / 26 Jan 2025
F-GSPP 15 Jan / 17 Mar 2025
F-GSPA 20 Fev / 23 Mar 2025
F-GSPO 05 Apr / 20 May 2025
F-GSPQ 26 Apr / 24 May 2025
I can't confirm if a retrofit took place during all these maintenance visits, especially the short ones. If you fly on these registrations soon, please report if it is equipped with new W.
If all of these a/c were retrofitted during these visits, it would mean that 70% of 777-200ER are now equipped with the new Recaro W. (But I can't confirm this.)

considering PE in June LAX-CDG. If I get the shell PE I will be switching with someone in coach. It is impossible to sleep in the shell product. It tricks you into thinking it reclines but all it does is slide forward.
What are the chances that i will get the older shell product?

If you scroll down a bit you get to the virtual tour. Available across AF/KL for most planes, not all configurations

Flying W tomorrow and here is what I have just received. It seems like AF is finally rolling out an on-tray service for the pre landing meal in W, replacing the infamous “bon appétit” bag (which is also served in Y…).

This would be a very appreciated improvement to the W catering and overall soft product. Will share a few pics tomorrow.
