IHG targetted and Regional Promotion Discussion Thread 2026
This is the thread for all posts related to discussion about promotion which might run by IHG apart from the regular (quartely / general) promotions in 2026.
Major Promotions might get its own thread, smaller promotion limited to certain regions or hotels are added in this thread. I have again added a Wiki with links to the running promotion master thread (and again I would like to highlight, that The Wiki does not necessarily have to be maintained by the moderator
)
Most of you with a certain number of posts and member of flyertalk for a longer time can add these promotions to the wikipost above yourself. If you are do not yet have the possibility or do not know how to add them, post them here and alert us via the report button (red triangle with !) and one of the moderators in this forum will add them.
If you have any question to the promotions, post it here and we are sure, you will get an answer.

I got an email for my 15th Anniversary, and triple points on every stay, up to 20k, for the next 90 days.
Not sure how this works with the present double points after 1 stay / night promo.
Would probably get 2 x base points + 100% diamond bonus on 1x base points anyway
i.e. base points are 1000, so 3000 earned.
Points posted for a stay:
77 for the room, and paid 14 for parking.

For each Bonus Elite Night Credit you earn under the Offer, you will be credited with an additional Elite Qualifying Night for purposes of determining Elite membership status and Milestone Rewards earned under the IHG One Rewards program in 20.26. Bonus Elite Night Credits do not qualify as Rollover Nights or as Qualifying Nights for any other purpose or benefit under the IHG One Rewards program.
To participate in this Offer, you must be an IHG One Rewards member and must be invited to participate. After receiving an invitation, you must register your member number in advance in order to be eligible for the Offer. The Offer Period is from Jan.uar.y 2.2., 20.26., through Ma.r.ch 3.1, .2026.. I requalified on the same offer early 2025
I didn't the Elite quailifying bonus offer in early 2025 and haven't got it yet in 2026
Other than IC stays as AMB I'm tempted to move some stays - particularly Manila - to Hilton where we have FFR.

This does happen quite a bit.
This time last year I wasn't targeted for some offers like this one that others got and got offers that some didnt.
Or I got a stay 5 nights whereas others for a stay 10 and so on,
And last autumn I got the stay 10 nights and get diamond with again some others didnt.

I didn't get the Elite quailifying bonus offer in early 2025 and haven't got it yet in 2026
I normally book many rooms in Q1. Currently 20 and likely to be 25+. All booked well before this promotion launch. BUT all cancellable.
In 2025 they refused to award the extra quaifying night when I whinged. But they chucked 30K points at me.
2025 I requailfied Diamond on the 8 nights offer. This year no offer - so I will use Hilton on FFR as below for hotels without lounges. It is a simple choice in Manila. IHG are just not competitive in The Philippines.
2025 they introduced a discount on reward nights at about this date in late Jan. I immediately converted 5 paid nights to reward nights!
I know it is always going to be a sales promotion marketing strategy not a respect for loyalty. But it cuts both ways. By moving nights to rewards and taking advatage of our Hilton FFR IHG wil lose a chunk of premium revenue from this family.
