Good news. I did a status match to scandic and i wss offered a challenge for 4 nights to get level 5. I asked if reward nights or finnair voucher would count. Got a reply no. But the terms and conditions say one could earn points on reward night if i spend some money on other purchases during the stay (reward night seems to be qualifying for level 7). What is the concensus here? Trying to decide either airbnb or use points at Hammerfest (cash is 250 usd while airbnb is 70 usd)

I got feedback from SAS and it was indeed the first day of transfer functionality today. And they have already deployed bug-fixes for some stuff that happened this morning, so there you go!

I was offered a status match (or challenge) to become level 5 upon 4 paid night. I did my 4th night on 31 checking out on sept 1. Sent them an email upon the points and night posted (around 4pm on Sept 1). Havent heard back from them even after another reminder on sept 3. previously, they replied quite quickly. Dunno what is going on!

Don't know if directly related, but ever since transferring points from SAS to Scandic in order to book a few nights, I have not been able to make any Eurobonus award bookings. The process to send points to Scandic sent an SAS SMS verification from a different number than other SMS codes. Now my Eurobonus SMS verification seems to be broken, as the code required to complete points bookings is never received. I suspect this is an IT bug. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Does anyone have experience on softlanding after the initial status (SAS for me) is lost - will Scandic also downgrade to the corresponding friend level?

The scandic level will correspond to the new EB level very quickly. At least that is what was reported early after the program came into place.
