As a data point in case anyone else is looking for this info - flew this last week and no extra bag available. Interestingly lounge access was offered though (this was at AMS)...

About Trieste Airport:

- I guess it should not be a problem for Sen to get access to the lounge Sala Calligaris?

- Anyone know if you can go direct to the lounge or have to register for a key card in the check-in area first, which Google seems to indicate?

Another airport, Ancona.

It seems to have a lounge. Anyone know if Sen have access to it?

EN lists some italian airports on their website:
https://www.airdolomiti.eu/services/lounges

SEN will always have access, it doesn't harm asking the gate/checkin desk if they have arrangements.

A follow up then, after being here.

No access to lounge for Air Dolomiti passengers in Ancona.

There are a fast track on the security, but that one you have to pay for even if you are a SEN.

This info come from the check-in agent.

https://www.airdolomiti.eu/services/lounges

As a general rule, lounge facilities exist for the following passengers if departing on an AIR DOLOMITI flight:

HON Circle Members (HON)

Senator Members (SEN)

Star Alliance Members with Gold Status (YY*G) -> Important: passengers who have a Star Alliance Gold card only have access to Lufthansas Lounge in Milan Malpensa if they are customers of Lufthansa (LH), United Airlines (UA), Air Canada (AC) or All Nippon Airways (NH). This is irrespective of the fare they have booked.

ITA Airways (AZ) VOLARE Premium, Executive, and Lifetime Executive status customers

Business Class passengers.

***Frequent Travellers (FTL) are not entitled to use the lounge with an exception for Milan Malpensa Airport, where the access to Lufthansa VIP Lounge is allowed also for FTL with Air Dolomiti boarding pass***
Since this flight will be operated for LH you can also apply LH rules and access the LJU contract lounge.

Not gold benefits - but related FTL question based on the above

Contradicts the Swiss lounge page
https://www.swiss.com/gb/en/fly/airp...dmission-rules
HON Circle Members, Senators and Frequent Travellers also have access to the relevant lounges with a boarding pass for an Air Dolomiti flight in Geneva for that day.
Does an FTL travelling Air Dolomiti GVA-MUC have access to the Swiss business lounge at GVA? Presumably one of the two websites is wrong?

Swiss and Lufthansa operated lounges are open to FTL if they are travelling on EN from that airport that day.

A follow up.

No fast track at the security, but no queue either.

At the lounge I just showed the BP to the lounge dragon, who let me in. The lounge doesn't offer much, but the espresso was good.

My flight is delayed, so anyway comfy chairs and a reasonable quite place to rest.

I am *G and have an LH flight number on an EN operated flight from GVA to MUC on Friday night. The next 2 legs are the next day and are pure LH. Does anyone know if I will get in the GVA lounge and which one? Googling it is totally ambigious. And I would like to get there early and enjoy a few glasses.

You should be able to access the GVA SEN lounge. Just don't get high expectations of the quality of the drinks.

Torino

In Torino SEN+ has access to Piemonte contract lounge. They did let me in despite 4h (3h rule) to my flight.

Not crowded today around 3pm. Light offering, cold cuts, sallad etc. Paper plates, plastic mugs and utensils - exception, prosecco which was served in classic Duralex glasses!

Great view over the airport.

Fast track worked fine, the new security machines worked also without extra control.

Edit. Espresso came in a traditional porcelain cup, and was excellent!

I live in Ancona; actually, there is a reserved area, but you have to book it in advance, and the cost is 50 euros.

Florence lounge - plastic plates, plastic utensils, less variety of alcohol, no separationg between Senator-Gold and Business sections. Do not recall on iota of daylight. This looks 4X better - as there are only chair/benches aranged along the walls, so no chance for any separation.. compulsory community
