I have wondered why the MEN hasnt jumped on this but they seem to be an additional marketing outlet for the airport at the moment.

Maybe someone here should proactively reach out to several of the media places with images and stories like this to put pressure on MAG for the overall experience - or rather the seeing incompetence of planning and operations that crates such an inbuilt poor customer experience?
But would also need to make sure the media were wised up to not let MAG get away with misleading responses such as the recent nonsense trying to deny the traffic chaos was real, or statements denying the validity of the repeated worst in uk ranking etc.

I'm certain that by now someone will have left the airport with a wheelchair loaded with a case of water and one of those pink boxes. I'm quite intrigued to see what else they've got stored along that corridor!
It's traumatic enough returning from 3 weeks in the Caribbean in January (on an overnight flight via the hell of LHR), without being confronted with a sight like this 😭 🤣

Seriously, you've never seen anything worse than this? It's a temporary route. People are making out like it's an "I'm a celebrity" challenge 😀

It's not finished!
I am sure many on here have worked or visited offices that were in use but not finished and understood.
Blimey, it may not be great at arrivals, once finished, it may well be absolutely fine. Understandably they have prioritised departures as people spend more time there. Arrivals is even more a means to an end.
I don't think my recent experience was particularly bad, or particularly good....but I just wanted to get through asap so i could get to my destination.
Its never going to be as great as LBA, but hang fire until they say they have finished and pass a more considered judgement perhaps.

Got to the Escape lounge at 4am today and there was no queue at all! When I asked the staff they said that they now open at 3am but dont know how long for. The lounge is as very quiet u like normally at this time. Theres also a sign outside saying that cardholder eg PP are not allowed until 2pm. When I expect its still capacity controlled.
Also, FastTrack security at West was closed so had to go to East. FastTrack was slower than regular. The boards showed that the through poor was meant to be 400 but the actual was 197.
The up escalators from security to duty free which were both out of action so long queues for the lifts.
The Escape lounge have veggie sausages made to order.

The lounge is also open when you get through security.
Luckily tomorrow I get a lie in as I'm on the 08:55.
Wish me luck as I try to negotiate getting my bags checked through without a Chinese Visa (I am going MAN-LHR-PVG then PVG-ICN on a different ticket).
