Why is PDX PAE being treated as new? That route was added in 2019 and ended in (I think?) 2021?

PDX-JAC is the only new route. PSC/BLI/PAE are technically resumptions.

Press release is out. Also looks like ANC-SMF/SAN are each getting an additional frequency and PDX-FAI is going to a 737.

This does largely seem to explain the reduction in frequency at BLI between BLI and SEA from 4x daily to 3x daily starting in January and extended, as I noted earlier from looking at the flight schedules page, through at least mid-March.

Nice addition after years of stagnation at BLI. And because of PDX connections, a lot more options for onward travel.

Any more Bay Area reductions noticed because of these additions?

I am personally very happy with these- both PAE and BLI in particular.

Me too! Lamenting the lack of growth at BLI in a previous thread. Have family in PDX so this will be a great option for us.

This is called "Marketing". The truth is immaterial. And it's why I generally have little respect for marketing departments -- they seem to think we all have the intelligence of an earthworm and a memory shorter than a fruit fly's entire life.

This is only an issue here and in similar communities. Foe most people a route that isn't on the sjedule and then is.is new.

I agree with your take on marketing, but this isnt a good example.
