AS 8047 today. Somehow this AS subsidiary can serve me a Mai Tai, prosecco, guava juice or water in proper serviceware on a jam packed A321 with a smile at 6:40 AM.
hawaii777 and anteater like this.

BOS-SEA (AS 819) on Saturday night. No offer of PDB, and generally lackluster service the whole flight. No offer of refills during dinner, and one round offered after dinner. We had empty glasses at our seat for over two hours as FA sat up front the whole time.

Unfortunately I can beat that. No PDB in Polaris on UA 7 (IAH to NRT, so 14 hours) on Sept. 29 nor on UA 6 returning on October 9. Nuts served with first drink were mostly pretzels. Flight attendants on UA 6 had some of the worst attitudes Ive experienced.

AS 105 SEA-ANC Oct. 13, 2025

No attempt at any PDB's despite boarding early. FA's did a good job once in the air.

Promptly served but unfortunately it looks like HA is now using AS fine stemware for PDBs.
Can't tell if this is Or A Fours or Ford's Water. Maybe La Leeks? Ah, it is Reed El!

Slightly off topic (but Ill preface with no PDB offer on ATL-PDX this evening). Is pre departure suit jacket/sport coat hanging in F no longer part of crew training? Id say I get a proactive offer to hang my jacket maybe 33% of the time (even after seatbelt/bulkhead bag checks, with my jacket conspicuously on my knee or the armrest). Sometimes twirling it in the air like a rally towel helps. Feels inattentive to us get-off-my-lawn curmudgeons after a long day of meetings. Ive noticed AA excels in valet closet services - they ask before Im fully seated sometimes.

AS36 SAN-JFK: water (with our without ice), orange juice, or sparkling wine. Boarding held while the FA is in the aisle. This is how it should always be!

FA to me: water or orange juice?
Me: orange juice
FA: sorry, I just ran out of orange juice. Champagne or water?
Me: Champagne will work nicely

AS 3428 SAN - LAS 11/2 no PDB whatsoever. We were delayed, but the FA decided that chatting with the GA about hair product and what worked better for their curls was more important. Service in the air was ok.
