The Resy website is driving me crazy - it defaults to some random area near me, but I am looking for restaurants on the Big Island of Hawai'i, and I can't get the website to list out restaurants on the island - but I can get a list for Honolulu, but that's now where we're going.

Or should I assume there are no Resy restaurants on the Big Island? That would be surprising.

I understand the frustration. I just checked the Resy app and got nothing. I then used ChatGPT and found these.

One of the local restaurant that I frequent is on Resy but doesn't use Toast. My Resy credit (from the Gold card) posted just fine.

Has anyone used the resy credit yet and has the credit posted?? I went to a place on resy on the 18th (activated the credit and linked with resy before) and have yet to receive the credit on my account as of this morning.

I was also curious if anyone has used the resy credit to buy gift cards at those restaurants and succesfully gotten a credit??

Also curious about the Lululemon credit if giftcards work for it??

Haven't received the credits yet, not really worried. Was able to place a Lululemon order and hit a Resy restaurant. Told the bartender he has AMEX to thank for the very generous tip. The Chicago Resy list is actually quite good.

I dined at a Resy restaurant on Friday. I’ve gotten the credit in the past on my Delta card. As of this morning no email and the meter still says 0. So, I will post when it does credit. Credit posted five days after purchase.

Its odd the focus is on Hilo - I would think many of the Kohala coast resorts would include their restaurants but maybe we will give Napua a try

Does the above mean that it is possible to accumulate Resy gift cards to use all at once at a fancy Resy restaurant (I have one in mind that costs over $300/person)? Do all RESY restaurants accept multiple Resy gift cards as a form of payment?

You're not buying a Resy gc. You are buying a gift card at a particular restaurant that participates in Resy so that restaurant shouldn't have an issue accepting multiple of their own gcs as payment.

Does anyone have insights to how the credit works for authorized users? I've enrolled the primary account & the AU account also shows as enrolled. The primary card was also linked to the Resy account, but I didn't anyway to link the AU card. Is this necessary?

Absolutely correct. I am sorry if my post was unclear.

If I was in your position, I would see if your $300/person fancy restaurant sells gift cards online through their websie, or visit the actual restaurant and ask/purchase in person. If it works, you can keep accumulating them for several quarters until you have enough to really indulge in a nice meal.

It may be safer to visit the restaurant in person, unless there are already data points of online gift cards triggering the credit.

Good Luck.

I had similar trouble. What worked for me is to go into map view, move the map to a different region, and then click "search this area."

Curious to see how soon we will start seeing credits. Been using my Delta Resy benefit for a year and a half. Only once did I have to call Amex to get a missed credit. It’s three days since I used my Plat at a restaurant I frequent. Usually see credit 2-4 days after purchase. Seen this question come up in other threads today. Update: The meter has moved. Today is four days, so within the window I have seen in the past. The credit posted on the fifth day, September 24.
