the B772 hasn't full flat seats either and it's just a 3 hours flight...you often get worse biz seats for such short flights...
Yes confirmed A320 from TG.

Sure, but I booked on the expectation of a wide-body and a lie-flat seat so it's always a shame to get a narrowbody substitution.

the shares have been trading around 9.5 bt this morning, putting a total of value of around USD 8 billion on the business, the highest market value ever in the history of the company!
Admittedly the balance sheet and the profits are now in much better shape, (given a big chunk of the debt was swapped into the equity), but this valuation looks nonsense, to me.

I would guess that the former debt holders who got swapped into the shares must be delighted with this kind of valuation and will probably be exiting over the coming weeks and months.

Higher TG airline prices are likely another factor.

Thai Airways Reaffirms 80-Aircraft Fleet Expansion as Part of Business Recovery Plan

TG confirms that purchase (all from Boeing) is part of the strategic fleet expansion and not part of the trade deal negotiation under pressure from USA...

believe it or not...

Thai Airways Eyes 400 Billion Baht Revenue by 2033 Amid Strong Recovery
  • Thai Airways aims to achieve 400 billion baht in revenue by 2033, driven by a major fleet expansion to 150 aircraft and an increase in market share.
  • This ambitious goal is based on a strong financial recovery, evidenced by 10 consecutive quarters of profit and the resumption of the airline's stock trading after a three-year suspension.
