Is 772 being replaced with 35K on BA183?

According to FlightAware, BA183 LHR-JFK has always flown a 777 version. However, for several days now the plane has been changed to 350-1000 with no First class cabin. I originally booked 2 First Avios seats on 777-200. What are my options if my flight is on the 350? Thank you in advance.
Btw, I tried to change for an earlier flight, but no First redemption flights available.

Flightaware is wrong. FR24 has 777s operating the flight as far back as my subscription can show.
Rose1116 and Can I help you like this.

Yes, I agree. It's been a 772 or 773 as far back as April 11th with no sign of it ever being operated by an Airbus A350 in the recent past.

Where are you seeing A350s on BA183, or any JFK flight, for that matter? BA has only ever used an A350 into JFK for a single promotional flight in conjunction with VS post COVID. Other than that, it's solid 77E, 77W or 781 route, all with First.

JFK has only ever had the graceful visit of a BA A35K two times in the past. The first being the reopening of UK-US air travel after the pandemic, and the second when the 5G issue happened and they werent able to send out any 777s to the US.

The 350 experience on BA is awful in business due to the galley size. Would be even less competitive on the JFK route.

I absolutely disagree - since the retirement of 744 its my favourite for Club. Comfy, great air systems and they seem to keep the cabin temperature acceptable overnight so you dont get slowly cooked and wake up with a sore head. I choose a window seat in row 15/16 and its great. If theres any small food service issues cant say Ive ever noticed.

I disagree in totality. This is not my experience and even if this were true the crews are savvy enough to do work-rounds.
