1 Hotel Mayfair - 9.5 Million Quid

Get out those credit cards to book the deal of a lifetime! On July 10, 2025 the 1 Hotel Mayfair in London is just Ł9591040 for a standard King room! Yes, 9.5 million GBP! I'll be booking a room and expect to see a few of you there for a mattress run too!

Spoiler

It should earn elite status for all of us, considering $75k earns top-tier elite status in Starwood Hotel's loyalty program!

Note to moderators - This is a real rate available to book right now on the hotel's website. I did not photo edit a screenshot for mischief and post it. I posted this for fun and giggles and have no expectation that anybody will book this.

EDIT

I should be nice a post a real deal, so tomorrow night - Jun 8, 2025 - the Treehouse Hotel Manchester can be booked for 79.20 GBP / $107.14 USD

What BA status does it give me if I book it as a BA Holiday?

Haha! That's smart! Buy a paradise for yourself rather than giving somebody else all your money for a one-time stay.

Another Starwood "deal". Baccarat Hotel New York - $979.16 USD on Aug 21, 2025 - This place is expensive, but you'll still save over $100!

I wouldn't do that - too much administration cost and maintenance of infrastructures. I'd rather retire early and travel around during off peak season.

So did anyone book for 9.5 million quid? Just wondering if the rate was honoured or not.

Haha! AMEX declined the charge! Told me it exceeded the NPSL on my charge card.
