I meant the latter. Obviously, OP is an occasional flier. They would get more value out of F tickets when needed, than burning a lot of money for a status they can't take much advantage of, that's only valid for a limited amount of time.

BTW I see RJK as your home airport, it is my second / summer home airport :-)
These days, it's the same for me ;-) DM me, we can do a RJK DO, and go watch all the three planes that land there weekly 🤣

And yet the OP did not ask for an opinion of what he is planning to do.
He asked for help in finding the relevant trips/points, right?
Obviously he made the decision for himself that it is worth doing it.
Why questioning it and not staying with the original topic?

This is a public forum, it only exists if there are contributions from members
Question is, what is the „contribution“, if it has nothing to do with the original question? But it is only a personal opinion.
I don‘t see that as a contribution.

This is a forum and everyone contributes as they see fit. This is Not ChatGPT.

To answer the original question:

If you got 12 months in a year and you can manage (time & money) to fly one intercontinental business trip (2x 200) with two connection flights (2x 40) per month, you are almost there.
12x480 =5.760

The rest is piece of cake.

If you can manage to fly those „monthly trips“ for about 1000€-1200€, you can get HON pretty easy.

12x1200=14.400 €

You might get it a little cheaper.

Sweet spots:

LH/OS: AMM, TLV
EW: DWC/DXB, RUH

Look around the various departure cities around Europe that have cheap fares.

If you need more details, PM me.
I don‘t think that thread is getting you any better info.

No thanks a lot, that is HON not worth it.
would you not get issues with the Israeli immigration if you try to enter and leave TLV with this frequency? I hear that airport can be a bit strict...

You're not the only one with such concerns...

I'd definitely not do TLV and I'd not use AMM for immediate turn-arounds either (though I would strongly recommend to go to AMM 'normally').

at This Frequency without ever staying, I assume most countries would raise an eyebrow but yes, Israel especially

As others have pointed out, this is a forum, everyone is entitled to communicate their opinion. And also, what if the OP's decision is made based on insufficient information? What if contributions to this thread could help them make a different decision? Should we just all be quiet and let people make / stick to their potentially ill-informed decisions?

Probably better ROI to just buy Business class on all necessary flights, what would you be missing? HON lounge?

F ground service in general + top tier CS (within the group).

For long-haul you can buy it, for short haul, you can't, even if you wanted to.

Financially it's a big outlay, is it worth it, I doubt it, but I will say I was seriously looking at it when M&M changed to Points system, if only just to try it for a year. I would have quite possibly done it if North Africa counted as intercontinental, so there was some variety. I was not a big fan of going to TLV every couple of weeks for a year even before the current security situation made it even worse... Honestly, people drop that kind of money on a nice vacation and it's not seen as that much of an extravagance.

You can buy F for long-haul, use airport VIP services for short-haul and then buy your ducks on e-bay for less money. Heck, you can add a HON bag tag from e-bay as well if that's important

Good luck with the TLV Immigration... plan some extra time when leaving TLV, as you will certainly be questioned a bit "more intensly"... have been to TLV many, many times and I have been in the same situation when going there 3 times within 12 days back in 2023.

2h Stopover with the same aircraft back (AZ 810, AZ 809), I don’t think that I need to go through the immigration, or am I wrong?

Your right, they do have transfer immigration, so you do not enter Israel.
