Those who got the code seemed to get it very quickly. But some others up thread have also reported not getting it and trying to chase it. None of those chasing it up have reported back to say the issue was resolved, so I don't know what else you can do. Try twitter maybe?

FINALLY, finally, Mr S and I got our codes on Saturday after sending THREE emails. Immediately set it up and applied the code and we now have seats and extra luggage booked on four easyjet flights.

I requested my easyJet Plus discount on 11 March, received an immediate automated email stating they would "respond within 7 days". Sent a follow up email yesterday, received another automated email telling me that "Due to the popular demand of this offer, we may take longer to reply to you. But don't worry, we've got your details and will be in touch with your discount as soon as we can". Received my discount code this morning (19 March), called up the easyJet Plus contact centre to have my new membership added to my existing bookings, re-downloaded my boarding pass and now have Fast Track etc.

As an aside, I'm very much used to using TFW, First Class lounges, fast track, Group 1 boarding etc. I'm surprised how, after just a few flights on easyJet, I've adjusted to flying like the majority of people fly and it's not the end of the world! I'm starting to feel better about no longer having GfL in easy reach, and just buying a flight that meets my needs in the class I want to fly rather than binding myself to IAG.

I agree. I flew with EZY for the first time in 14 years last week to experiment with life away from BA. I had the whole front row to myself on the way out, and an empty seat next to me in row 1 on the way back. Luton airport is a dump but I had access to a comfortable easy chair in the No1 l Lounge and a decent snack in the BFS lounge on the way back. The crew left me alone and the captain was very informative during the flight. My lounge access came with my Plat Amex which I hold anyway. I didn't use Fastrak at the airports because I hadn't redeemed my EZY code at that time. Fastrak wasn't needed as it just so happened that normal security was empty. The ticket was 8 out and 20 back, plus front row fees, which will come with the Plus card moving forward. With the tickets being so cheap I could have bought the seats next to me to guarantee the empty seat which is easy to do with easyJet. All in all it was a first class experience. Obviously, it must be said, the private lounges at Luton, Stansted etc are not a patch on any of the BA lounges at T5, including the Galleries Club IMO, but half a loaf is better than no loaf. I'm looking forward to my next easyJet flight a fortnight from now. It will take several flights over a few months to get a true overall impression. P.S. I saved a lot of on parking at LTN multistorey against LHR to boot.

Ryanair have started doing some subscription thing.

Well, not exciting. Up to 12 free seats on specific flights and some very basic travel insurance.
Probably not going to sway too many people.

No free carry on bag would put a lot of people off

Is that 79 euros how much Ryanair pay you for taking out "Prime" and flying with them?

FR Prime seems to be just free seat selection and even that only 12 times per year and only as long as there are seats available in the "designated rows" (which I assume will be the worst rows possible). Besides that it's just insurance and access to "exclusive sales".

Because this is a thread discussing alternatives to BA EC? Only U2 seemed to be responding but now FR have joined in with their own offering as well? Could be the reason?
