The soft landing
Is this written anywhere?
The app is warning that the year is nearly over😂. I didn’t try for even silver this year. On the basis that I’d slip to platinum and that would be fine with me.
I presume I won’t be crashing back to green🤪

I’m slightly annoyed with myself actually as I thought I would “benefit” from the soft landing also, but will somehow have accrued 645 TCs by 01 April. I didn’t think I’d get close to be honest as most of my travel has been on Savers!
Glad I used all 5 upgrades though
The “new” one on 01 April will prob end up donated

No you'll be fine assuming you've taken at least 4 EI flights.

The terms perviously had a soft landing clause but its not there now, there is some ambiguous text as in it doesn't state a drop to green specifically
Come April 1 you will find out

"5.5
Aer Lingus may at its discretion downgrade the Member's Tier level if they have not earned the required Tier Credits or travelled on the required number of Sectors in the AerClub Qualification Period. Tier Credits earned prior to the beginning of the relevant AerClub Qualification Period will not be counted for this purpose."Also as a side note I saw this and didn't realise that upgrades purchased at the airport (assuming at check in) are in theory at least not eligible for the extra tier credits
"Upgrades purchased on the day of travel at the airport and upgrades that have been purchased using the 'Upgrade Yourself' bidding process only the original booking element of the fare is eligible for Tier Credits; the upgrade element of the fare is not eligible for Tier Credits."

5.5 is it, it vague. If it was a hard drop to Green it would be here, the use of 'downgrade' implies a soft landing but is phrased to all a hard drop as well

If I went to green I’d be lived based on past experience. I’d certainly have tried for silver as I’m close enough to it. Based on flights booked I’d be back to silver by July but Jaysis that would be a hard drop.
