Yes the NV is a good champagne for the Regent lounge, but not for EK F. EK Biz fine.
I would need Billecart Salmon Cuvee Elisabeth in F. It's fine as a Regent Phu Quoc Lounge bubbly.

Ahh, got you, EY. Still the "NV" (non vintage) is to pedestrian for F on any carrier including EY in my book unless it is a more premium version from the same brand. It is a fine champagne, don't get me wrong, and I'd be happy to see it in a hotel club lounge, but not for a premium carrier in F, Biz ok.

One thing I failed to report on is the dress code. A few months ago, the welcome letter started listing a "resort elegant" dress code. We brought a checked bag with such outfits (would just have done carry-on otherwise), but it was pointless. There were a few Asians at the lounge with $10,000 outfits, but LOTS of people wearing flip flops and shorts. One guy seemed to be barefoot for days. So no need to worry about the dress code.
Which is a shame for a lounge this good.

Totally agree. On my last stay, there were 2 young guys there (late teens, early 20s) in muscle shirts and short shorts. Really didnt fit with the elegant decor.

I don’t see rates that include club lounge access on reservation page. Is the lounge access payable separately upon check in?

You need to select a room type (eg Resort View Suite) to see the rates for that room type, and at the end you should see a rate including Regent Club access.

I am staying here in August and seems lounge cost basically 150 euro/day/person.
That's a lot of food and Champagne. Every day.
I am better off not taking this up

There was a sweeping price increase on points redemptions at this property for 2026 about 10 days ago. I've been monitoring Jan/Feb 2026 prices. Luckily I've already booked 3X 4 night reservations (with 4th night free) and my prices ranged from 42K pts/night to 45K pts/night. The cheapest price I'm seeing now for Jan 2026 (for 4 nights with 4th night free) is 53.5K pts/night. For Feb 2026, it's 57.8K pts/night.

I booked my last stay around 60000points per night and i considered it a good value. IHG has dynamic pricing and booking a year out is a great way to get better deals. Im sure that you know this already but just saying..

Yes, I'm already booked for 42-45K pts/night, but the prices for my time period have increased by 10-15K pts/night which is a huge increase especially when it happened overnight. I've been monitoring the prices daily, hoping for some slight decrease.

It's pretty fun to book with points and then try to find even cheaper points rate for your dates and then cancelling and rebooking . Money and points rate tend to swing quite a lot if you look every day the price action. Of course this is country and hotel specific.

The resort shows no availability until beginning of June. Is this normal for this time of year? Also, opinion please as a solo non drinker traveler, do you guys think its worth it to pay for Club Lounge access?
