Brussels Airlines Beobank Master Card

Back in September, a new Mastercard from Beobank was announced as of Q2/2025. No further news since then.

See this thread.

Interesting that they will offer generic perks (MasterCard Fast Track and Priority Pass) rather than SN specific ones (BRU fast tracks and LHG lounge passes for instance).

I hope that they will start the application or come out with more information before start of Q2. Looking forward to this card and hopefully they are flexible in accepting non-residence but with a Belgian bank acct and NL citizen. (I might also try the one from DB but that comes only later this mid year).

Cheers!

SN is organizing a launch event on 13th March for those new cards:

Dear fereke,

We are delighted to invite you and your partner to a unique evening, specially designed for our most valued travelers. In an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, we have a major exclusive announcement for you: the launch of an exceptional range of credit cards, born from an exclusive partnership between Brussels Airlines, Beobank, Mastercard and Miles & More.

As one of our most loyal customers, you will have the opportunity to discover a limited edition of this card, created especially for the occasion.

Evening Program:
6:00 PM Welcome drink
7:15 PM Exclusive reveal by Dorothea von Boxberg, CEO of Brussels Airlines, Guy Schellinck, CEO of Beobank, Henri Dewaerheijd, Country Manager of Mastercard, BeLux and Marcus Frank, Vice President Loyalty of Lufthansa Group
7:30 PM Refined walking dinner
10:00 PM End of the evening
BRU-based SEN, long term SN amex holder.

Not sure I can attend but we shouldn't wait too long for details.

Interesting they make such a fuss about it, I hope their card will be equally interesting!
BTW I have not been invited, 20 years BRU based SEN, but I only had the Amex 9 months until it got cancelled.
If you are attending, have fun, I hope the refined dinner will be better than in the lounge.

I am not invited neither, Belgium based, long term SEN (> 10 years) and very heavy user of the former Brussels Airlines Amex card ...

Edit: sorry take that back, I did receive an invite. But no more availability meanwhile ...

I of course will not be invited I guess - as I'm based in NL (even when I applied and owned the AMEX card) and was SEN during the first few years of the card and after that ditched M&M for another *A program, although I had the card just to keep miles active.

For those who managed to get an invitation and will attend, if you will so kind with any opportunity pls do check with them on the eligibility for the card - I hope that they will let me as an NL citizen/tax payer with a BE account to apply for it. (if they really do need a BE address but not residential eligibility, that should also be doable).

Cheers!

Some more teasing...

Dear fereke

We are excited to announce the launch of three new credit cards1, in April, cobranded with Beobank and Mastercard, in collaboration with Miles & More. These cards are designed to elevate your travel experience with benefits and rewards adapted to your travel profile.

Key highlights of these cards include:

Welcome Bonus: You will receive a welcome bonus the first year2, based on the card you select.

Earn Miles: Earn miles with every transaction made with the card3, whether traveling with Brussels Airlines or shopping in Belgium and abroad.

Each credit card offers an included insurance package4 for peace of mind. Key highlights include travel insurances, ideal for holidaymakers as well as regular travellers, and shopping insurances to cover your purchases.

Additionally, you will have access to various Mastercard benefits, including the Priceless platform. Priceless is a program offered by Mastercard that allows you to enjoy inspiring and exclusive experiences in the cities where you live and travel, as well as online experiences.

Apply for your credit card as soon as it launches in April and start earning miles!

Best regards,

With interesting small print: no miles granted when spending on airlines out of LHG/Star Alliance and a yearly earning cap.

This teasing starts to become irritating!
But yes, interesting small print: due to the caps, the card will probably not be interesting for me, just like the Amex offer IIRC. Probably if you want to earn a decent amount of miles you will need to get the most expensive credit card.
And they must have added the non-qualifying spending on other airlines since they have read over here that we are not so happy anymore with Lufthansa.
In any case, with the recent huge devaluation of the miles, the card won't make too much sense. This announcement is bad timing...

Indeed, now with the recent dynamic annoucement, I do really wonder do I want to continue collecting miles with the program. Furthermore with that small print.. does not sound very interesting.
I'll wait and see....

Cheers!

I could attend part of the SN credit card event after my flight yesterday.

There will be 3 different credit cards out of this SN/Beobank collaboration, but I only got details about the top of the range card "Altitude", with a limited metal edition:
FR: https://www.beobank.be/fr/payer/cart...nes-metal.html
NL: https://www.beobank.be/nl/betalen/kr...nes-metal.html

In summary: up to 100,000 miles per year:
- 2 miles / eur on SN
- 1.5 miles / eur on LHG and *A
- 1.25 miles / eur on every day purchases

Card will come with:
- priority check-in / boarding on SN
- 3 SN lounge passes
- 2 security fast track passes
- comprehensive insurance package

Yearly fee: 180 euros

Thanks a lot both, wasnt able to join and was hoping for a swift feedback here 🙂

This picture seems to show HON/SEN get the card free? (180 cashback). That would be very generous, so I probably miss something
The link only talks about first year, but seems to indicate the cashback is for everyone?

How should I interpret the 5000+5000 SN miles?

Anyway, starting to look like a good alternative to the Amex offer, especially when the point booster becomes an addon for gold..
