No for me. $44k PQP out of EWR. Got cut last year too but met the $18k challenge to requal. Oh well, GS benefits a nice to have but not as beneficial as they once were.

Just received an email from United signed by Kirby welcoming me to GS for 2025. Ironically, I am lifetime GS and my card on the app renewed to 1/27 a few days ago. Should I be excited? Thankful?

My GS was not renewed today.

in 2024 I flew 106 PQF, spent 66,358 PQDs and flew 237,839 miles in United Metal.

I have been a 1k for 12 years before making GS for 2024,

My home station is PNS and all flights connect through IAH or ORD.

I have accumulated 1.9M miles on United metal, but for some reason I was not worthy of keeping my GS status.

I am already at 6PQFs and 7588 PQDs for 2025, and with booked tickets, I'll make 1k renewal by March but GS is unattainable?

2024: $56,480 PQD, 88,883 BIS, 60 flights, all business class (some discounted), about 80% international, based out of LAX, been GS for 12 years. No points-based bookings in 2024 and only used PlusPoints to upgrade colleagues/family/friends on flights I wasn't on.

Comes out to $0.63544/mile

Was NOT renewed.

Have requested a challenge.

Challenge
Lost GS after 8 years. Miles dropped off significantly. 51k spend on UA metal out of EWR; down 40k from year before. The challenge came in the same email as the 1k letter followed by another separate email about it 10min later. There is also a spend tracker now on my account that is counting down from 18k. I guess they think I’m recoverable? Yes, United CC holder.

GS wasn't renewed on Jan 14, asked for a review a few days ago, and saw that my status has been changed to GS for 2025 today.
Renewal GS. 2024 PQP = 65,535, PQF = 77, maybe 80% United metal. Split time between SFO and LAS. Thanks.

Could people report too if they hold a UA credit card? Plenty of theories around that CC spend may be a factor. Likewise if they’re flying on corp contracts.

Can someone DM me the address they used? I asked 1kvoice but I don't think they understood and just said I didn't qualify based on 2024 flying.

Were you a GS in 2024? Aren't challenges for fallen GS? Not hopeful 1Ks?

Im about halfway through the challenge, and I noticed today that the challenge tracker had disappeared (using the app). Has this happened to anyone else? Id be pretty pissed if they took it away mid challenge, especially when Ive been going out of my way to complete it.

edit: it came back the next day. Just have been a glitch
