Thank you! $377 to F was worth every cent as I was able to SDC to an earlier flight (multiple available), hit the QF TBIT 1st Lounge for breakfast, travel in F (no celebrities), then multiple LPGS & crab cakes in JFK Chelsea lounge on arrival. The best!

Bit on both. Was miserable in a completely full Y on these legs last trip, so didn't want to chance the upgrade lottery on this premium-heavy route this go around.

DEN-ORD - $150.50 - took it for my wife as there were no aisle seats except in the way back and it's an A319 so upgrade unlikely
ORD-EWR $581 - lol
ORD-BOS $501 - see above

LAX-DCA-LAX in Feb
$237 per person each way on a basic economy ticket. Took the upgrade both ways for 2 people.

I have a business trip DCA/LAX next month. Last week the offer was $1,049 each leg to upgrade. Now it's $484 each leg. Still don't see this as value. I'll bite if the offer drops to $200. Via my corporate account, I have group 4 boarding and access to a reasonable seat so in economy so...

AA sent me an offer today for $221 to ugrade the DCA/LAX leg to First. I am contemplating purchasing. The LAX/DCA leg is still over $1,000.

I did after some thought. Now keeping an eye on an upgrade for the return leg. It is now going for $900 down from $1,300

On Saturday11th, AA was still pushing an upgrade offer of $1,090 for the LAX/DCA leg of my trip
On Sunday the offered dropped to $895
Monday to $457
Tuesday now at $466

I'm still not interested in anything over $300

Hello all, I am thinking of accepting a cheap ($150) upgrade for a caribbean flight next week but I am 50/50 to make the trip. What happens if i accept the upgrade, pay but I do not travel?? Do I lose the money??
