Discussion of the discontinued Sears MasterCards which earn ThankYou Points has been moved to a separate thread, HERE.

Application link for the Shop Your Way (SYW) MasterCard is HERE.

Accumulating points, expiration, and redemptions:
You can accumulate SYW points in some of the following methods:
  • Bonus offers sent to your email (ie: Spend $750 on Online and get 200,000 SYW Bonus points)
  • Regular spend - categories: 5% in gas, 3% in grocery/restaurants, 2% in SYW Merchants, 1% everywhere else
  • "Missions" in the SYW App (iPhone/Android)
Expiration of points:
Not all points have the same expiration timeframe. Some bonus/incentive points expire in 30 days or less. Most are 1 year. You can check in the SYW app, or the shopyourway.com website. Make sure to redeem the points before they expire!!!!

Redemptions:
You can only redeem $200 worth per day. So if you redeem for a $200 GC, you have to wait until the next day to make another redemption of any amount.

Credit Line Increases
This is very odd, but according to the Chatbot on the website:
Q. When requesting a credit limit increase, is the credit inquiry a hard or soft credit inquiry?
A. Unfortunately, until we process the request, there isn't a way for us to know if a credit line increase request will be a soft or hard hit on your credit report. For this reason, we have to receive your permission to pull a copy of your credit report before we process the increase request. If you process the request online, you will see a message stating "By submitting this form, you authorize Citibank, N.A. to obtain your credit report."

To request an increase online:
In order to request an increase, you will need to go to your Credit Home page, and find Available Credit at the top of the page. Then, click on the link that says Request Increase to begin the process.

Travel/Entertainment is the same as others - 5% up to $80 per month.

Like the lower threshold for GGR since $2k was proving unreachable for me without stressing about it and manufacturing spend. $1500 is more manageable though I still doubt I'll go for it. Will be happy with the $75 CB per month.
Looks like GGR is 10% in 2025 for most people.

I would have preferred the $500 or $750 lower limit instead of $1000. Although I'll make it work.

Similar case for me, was your available CL lower than 2K or something like that when you received the offer?

Yeah I don't see reports of anyone getting $150/$250 for 1k/2K spending this year, which is the offer I was hoping to get

Eh. I received in the US Mail an offer for 5% (statement credit) on travel and entertainment for all of 2025 (up to $80/mo). For the last 6 months, I have had 10% which has proved useful. 5% (+1%) is ok, but not great. I hope I receive more/better offers.

Sometimes letters show up late even if they are in informed delivery so I'll hopefully get it on Monday for P1. If it doesn't show up or went to a neighbor and they toss it, does anyone know how to see what was offered and how to redeem?
Still nothing in the mail. Maybe tomorrow but doubtful. Probably tossed by a neighbor. I hope I get something emailed to me that T/E is easy to meet for me.

Good luck everyone, especially those who haven't gotten anything yet.

I'm out of town until 1/14. Has anyone received offers for the new year that need to be activated before then?

I throw myself on your mercy.

Ty, the one and only offer I received (5% entertainment for all of 2025) (via US mail) says to activate by 01-21-25. I think you are good my friend.

To the folks not getting GGR offer or meager one, was your available CL very small in Nov 24?
I got snail mail offer of $20/$200 per month and had CL of $800 at that time.

My credit limit is only $1002 somehow. 800+ credit score and much larger lines of credit on every other card I've ever gotten. I got the same GGR offer as you for next year.

I received an email with the same offer of $100 for $1000-$1999 or $200 for $2000 GGR spend
that I had received by snail mail earlier in the month.

Same here. My CL is 4500 in case people are tracking. Technically, I'm not sure whether I ever got it in the mail. I think I did.

Same. Did not receive an email for the T/E for P1 which is what I am waiting for.
