Iberia Optima Fare on QR.... Lounge Access?

Tried searching the forum but can't find an answer...

Looking at a quick NYE trip to JKT and there is a fare on QR but booking through Iberia, the Iberia fare shows as Optima.

Can anyone confirm if that grants access to the main Biz lounge in DOH?

Travelling with friends who are not all OWE so would like lounge access for the layover.

Optima on Iberia's site says lounge access but I'm suspicious this could be a QR Lite fare in disguise...

A few people have said if you book through AA then you get lounge access, hopefully this is the same deal with Iberia...

You should get lounge access with a business class ticket on a partner stock. However note that QR runs special premium lounges in Doha, specifically, and they restrict access. As such you may be allowed into Al Mourjan but you won't be able to bring in guests if they are not flying business as well. If they are in economy then you will need to use the status lounges (Platinum and Gold/Platinum lounge).

QR Lite fares only apply if booked through QR. Booking via IB, BA, AA will get you lounge access.

Just back from a trip booked through IB but both flights on QR. All allowed by lounge access.
