Well, nope.
However in the email it stays “from 400” for business and “from 1900” for first suites I can’t find that in what Oliver posted.

Oliver only posted the prices for medium and far flights. The price of 1900 for first class flights is for "near," which are flights from Europe to Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Emirates.

I can’t find €1900 either. Just €2400 for Intercontinental Medium and €2900 for Intercontinental Far.

it's 1900-2900 but the table seems to start for 2400 for the suite plus, now that might either mean that SEN/HON have a discount of 500 EUR, or that there is another, shorter length (Middle East?) where the ASR is 1400.

For business suites it starts at 500 and SEN/HON can have it for 400, I expect here's it's a discount at play therefore likely also in F.

For 2 pax on the same PNR with no ASR, well - automatic seating logic would apply, right? And that is meant to put higher status in better seat, i.e. the center suite...

I have to say, €1900 for the middle seat in first is absolutely insane. I really don't know what they're smoking but whatever it is, I want some.
if this Allegris product was installed say 10 or 15 years ago, (similar time as the EK A380 F or SQ A380 Suites) with the middle F seat being advertised as a "double bed", it should work well

Presumably the problem with all of this is that Allegris was conceived pre-COVID, in the days where corporate travel existed at a much higher rate than it does today. In those days, the seat selection fees here would be paid by the corporate, and similar to YQ, would be part of their ancillary spend, and thus not eligible for rebates like the base fare would be? Pure profit for something that's inherent in the product.

Now that corporate long haul travel is less than it used to be, and premium leisure is a much bigger factor, the uptake of these charges is going to be less than they modelled in the first place. Be interesting to see how this turns out.

I feel like we could have a lot of fun with this on the more relevant thread for armchair CEO's (and those aspiring to be) here!

But it's not a double bed, is it? It lacks the flexibility of a double bed product like SQ F & J or QR J; it only has one screen for both passengers, and one has to jump over the other passenger to exit while in bed mode. And for all the marketing noise about how flexible Allegris J is, the F cabin has no flexibility. Do you want to work while your partner is watching a movie? Tough luck, there's only one screen.

So LH is asking for 600 per leg to get the business class suites while some other airlines are offering a return from Europe to Brazil in C for pretty much the same price 1.200. Bonkers

I wish them good luck with it. I wouldn't pay even 5 cents for any of the ASR.

Would corporates actually reimburse ASR? Somehow I am doubting.

Mine would, but only if there are no free seats available. And since the “classic” seats are free…

Seat selection fees for Allegris Business ....
Thinking 1, 2, 3,
Surely these extra fees will generate also Points or Qualifying Points or HON Circle Points...
No? Not even 1 Point per €500 seat selection fee or 1 HON Circle Point per €1000 seat selection fee for Allegris F?
