Is it better to split within 24 hours of purchase, or after? Which ruffles less feathers?

I instantly cancelled 1 pax after purchase so I could refund to original payment method. Haven't been shutdown yet, I guess.

Would like to use my 50% off code for a MR from SFO the weekend of Jan 18/19. I tried doing the multi-city search for some SFO to JFK (and rerouting back through SEA or SAN) but the site keeps erroring out on me. Any tips for searching? Would like to avoid spending the night at the airport if possible but it seems like there are no west to east red-eyes that weekend.

The only red-eyes in January are to TPA/MCO/FLL.

There's some rediculously cheap flights on Alaskaair.com on Porter between Vancouver & Florida in November, $112 FLL-YVR, and you can turn around and fly back for almost the same amount. Apparently when you book on alaskair.com, you get 100% EQM for PD flights. My outbound is $0.03/mile

Welp, did not see the Ts&Cs re day of the week restrictions to FL for using that 50% code . I work full time so MRs during the week are tough. Need to think on this some more.

I see at least a couple other days this is available later on this year.
What extension is that?

It is milecalc.com. It is outdated, but still good for determining distances. Alaska Airlines is in the Select Airline drop down list, however, it was never updated to reflect the MVPG100K Elite Tier. It never handled mixed cabin itineraries nor different COS bonuses in the same cabin.

SAN-ORD-SEA was also good. Even better was SEA-SFO-ORD-SAN. I flew it earlier this month. $236 in F outbound and $98 return in Main.

wow, that's a good deal. Do you mind sharing how to book such itineraries? multi-city search might not work in this case, right?

Mileage Runs to Australia and New Zealand

Has anyone looked into mileage runs to Australia and New Zealand purchased through the Alaska Airlines website? I just received an email for a limited time offer.

Cheap for sure but nothing more brutal that 15(?) hours in economy each way. And probably major DVT risk if you do a quick turn.

I was looking at that the other day and it looks like, at least during the winter months, there is no longer a SAN-ORD red-eye on Saturday nights which was the linchpin of that run.
