Contract Lounge Access Denied in Barcelona with United as LH*G

Can you name one other *A carrier that doesn't let *G access their contract lounges? During my "tenure" as a *G, I never encountered any such case and I was always allowed access to lounges contracted by the operating carrier of my flight.

Of course, not only any carrier anywhere, but for the very same airport and very same lounge: TAP does not allow SAG access to this lounge either.

Im UA*G flying LX from BCN to ZRH in economy. Will I have access to the Pau Casals lounge? The lounge finder doesnt list Swiss (only LH and SN) as airlines that have contracted the lounge so when i input my info, it says i have no lounge options. Has something changed? Or is it common for LHG airlines to be displayed like this on the lounge finder for contract lounges?

All, absolutely all, Star Alliance airlines except United offer lounge access to Gold members even when flying on cheapest economy fare.

May I correct you, TAP does allow access to BCN contract lounge for all star gold members, flying TP, no matter the class. The only negative is that even though your BP says "fast" you are not entitled to pass throught FAST lane in BCN, but in LIS yes.

I am in OSL today. Following SK's exit from Star Alliance, the situation for LHG passengers at this airport is:
Business class pax + LH SEN / HON cardholders in Economy get access to the SK lounge (which is now a contract lounge). *G members in Economy get no lounge access.
Business class pax + LH SEN / HON cardholders in Economy get access to the SK lounge (which is now a contract lounge). *G members in Economy get no lounge access.

I flew yesterday on TP BCN-LIS in economy and there was no problem getting into the Pau Casals lounge at all. I have Gold LH card.
