Actually happy to see no recline beyond row 9 - Someone reclining in front of you is bothersome when working with Laptop & generally the Embraers operate short flights where it really is not required

Not coming. Ever, I guess.
"Finnairin varatoimitusjohtajana toimiva Jaakko Schildt kertoi alkuvuodesta yhtin vuoden 2024 Q1-tulosjulkistuksen yhteydess...ettei Embraer-koneisiin ole suunnitelmissa list nettiyhteytt."
ENG:"Jaakko Schildt, acting as Finnair's deputy CEO, said at the beginning of the year concurrently with the company's 2024 Q1 results announcement...that there are no plans to add internet connectivity to Embraer planes."

And this will be rolled out to the Airbus fleet as soon as they realize they can charge extra for recline.

New seats look like Recaro to me but I'm no seat expert. Was that confirmed anywhere?

Lighter seats. This must mean less durable seats, ie. ancillary revenue opp again: seat selection subject to weight, if you are over 80kg you can enjoy our rows 10-58 for a 69 fee. Those who are fit and slim can enjoy seating rows 1-9 for a fee of 96

There is unintended irony in your forum name and the content of your post.

I got lucky and got to fly OH-LKH with the new seats. The colours are just gray, looks a little cheap to be honest. But overall the interior obviously looks more modern than before. The new ceiling light changed colour during the flight which made for a nice show at least.
The seats in rows 1-9 and 10-25 are different. Padding on the front seats looks a tiny bit thicker and there is an additional seatback pocket but otherwise the seats look and feel identical. Rows 10 onwards have no recline and the seat feels quite upright though.

The colour of the new seat is light gray. This is row 2.

Back of row 1, rows 1-9 have a seat pocket for magazines as well.

Exit row has excellent leg room, but the seat is the cheaper back of the plane version.

Here is a view of rows 9 and 10. The seatbacks look different.

It would be interesting to check the back of row 10 and 11, row 9 might have the "cheap version" of the seat because it does not recline and is in front of the exit. I am finding strange that exits move from row 11 to row 10, perhaps they densified the cabin beyond the exit and made a bit more space for the first rows used for biz class?

haapalainen did you try the cupholder? Melikes those little improvement when well designed. The classic tray table is just clumsy

What is the seat pitch in rows 1 to 9 and behind? "Legroom" by shortening the seat is self-deception and butt hurting.

Almost OT: You may remember "riuku" from SA INT years. At least ATR seats resemble closely that situation. And natural padding does not help, as the tuberositae ischii any way compress, what is between and the "riuku". Comfortable seating provides thigh support.
