What is a good redemption on Mint?

Looking at LAX-LHR- what would you consider a great redemption?

whats the cheapest you’ve seen that route in the last few months?

is RT cheaper than one way usually?

thanks in advance!

See lax-jfk for 74k, haven’t seen that low in a while, but don’t check often.

same question LAX-LHR which is very high in way.

I do coast-to-coast a few times a year in Mint; combinations of LAX/LAS/SFO and JFK/EWR/BOS. I do so on separate itineraries (me revenue and kid on points) and the magic number I currently look for is 60k one way.

ETA: for US domestic Mint I have never seen a price difference between one-ways and r/t.

Your question was already answered in the AA forum. Cross posting is against FT rules:

Cross-Posting

Don't post your topic more than once. Duplicate threads or posts will be deleted, combined or locked. You may cross reference a post in another forum. For example, if you are questioning whether American Airlines or United Airlines may be the best fit for you, post the primary question in perhaps the American forum and then post a link to that thread in the United forum. An exception to this rule includes posts related to charitable activities, please see Rule 11 — Charitable Posts.

I’ve removed the overlapping part.
