More than the livery I'm really impressed with the new F/J cabins.

This is not a leak, it's the product video that was played at the reveal yesterday.

Are you sure about that? No news media has reported that. I don't think they would do that because it would dilute all the focus from the new logo reveal. Also the website isn't claiming it was played yesterday.

But most importantly.... people should be far more upset about the 3-4-3!

Its seems AI picked the Safran Unity seat for the retrofit. But its a long way away, with the work only starting next year. HAECO in HKG will do the B77W, Boeing will do the B788s in Jordan at Joramco

What is the difference between Unity J and F? They look exactly the same....

What differentiates the first class hard product from the business class hard product? It looks like first class will have a larger television screen, plus a larger ottoman - https://onemileatatime.com/news/new-...usiness-class/

I think AI realises that the people who fly AI F don't really care too much about the hard/soft product just want to fly "first" for privacy and are most likely not paying for it.

The J seat is absolutely stunning and will be a true game changer.

I like the J cabin but I feel they could have done more with the F cabin.

While I don't quite agree with your analysis of why they've put zero effort into F, they need to have a hell of a soft product for F to justify it's 50% extra cost over J.

As for J, from what I've seen so far, the wireless charger it's placed in the worst place possible, but other than that, it absolutely looks fantastic.

AI’s F seats won’t have a footwell like J so the pax will get a real bed that they can properly move around in while sleeping. Add better bedding, more privacy, better food, on ground personal handling and I think F will be just fine. AI anyway should be using F to get high paying business travelers (aside from very rich Indians that need to fly F). AI should give instant F upgrades to those buying full fare J. I really like AI’s J product. I hope they offer J meals from a trolly where they serve from platters (like Turkish does).

Exactly. Otherwise why bother with F.

AI under GoI had a compulsion to keep F. The Tatas have no such compulsions so I hope there are still bonus features of the F suite & product they're yet to share.

You mean like AI still does in F or did in J not to long ago.

It would be stunning if it were not for the fact that QR has had a better product (some seats convertible to double beds, high doors) for more than a decade, and now EY and some other airlines have layouts similar to that shown.

I've flown the QSuites extensively on ULH and this seat looks to be more comfortable. I did a quick search on Qantas (They're using the same seat on their upcoming 350s) and the width is indeed 25" vs 21" on QR, more info here.

4" is "stunning" and a "game changer"? Okay.

Now if they could make the seat with built-in urine detecting alarm, that would be something.
