Very nice! Looks like it's down slightly to $43.10 now.

I also see $43.10 ORD-IAH (or reverse) on many dates thru the end of the year. Pleasantly surprised to find this between UA hubs.

ADDENDUM:

To save a couple more bucks, I also see $41.10 IAD-BDL on many dates thru the end of the year.

It's only $2, but somehow it seems right to nickel-and-dime them back.

Cheapest UA Flight?

Hi Everyone,

Long story short, I have a $1400 credit sitting in a family member's act. that was issued after a flight was cancelled. I'm looking to book an extremely cheap UA flight, cancel it, and then have the rest of the credit reissued back into a travel cert. Does anyone know what the cheapest routing is with UA? I found $67 SFO-LAX, but I'm sure there's something even cheaper, perhaps around $49? Thanks in advance...

On Feb 24, LAX/DEN/ORD - DFW is $44, tons of availability. That's just from a super quick search.

The cheapest I could find today was MSP-ORD for $39.
Also, ORD-MSP at $44, SFO-LAS at $47, IAD-BDL at $50 and ORD-ATL at $54.

I need to make a booking for testing purposes, of some unrestricted (fully refundable) fare. Any ideas for which city pair is likely to have the lowest cost?

Absolute Cheapest UA ticket price

I think there used to be a thread on this, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. Looking to figure out what the absolute lowest fares UA issues (which is useful for using up all tickets on a throwaway and getting the remainder as an ETC).

I see LAS to DEN/LAX for $40. Anyone know of anything else?

ORD/MSP $40 also (thought it was less for $23 bf, but yikes there are a lot of fees these days).

Doubt you can do better than that at the moment.

ISO cheapest flight anywhere

I want to buy the least expensive United Airlines ticket anywhere. It does not matter where it departs from or arrives, and one way is fine. The date and time of the flight also does not matter, so long as it departs before the middle of October The only limitation is that it cannot be ticketed in Basic Economy. I found $66 one way fares in a quick search. Anything cheaper? Is there an easy way to do this search? Thanks.

Google.com/flights

Pick star alliance, September only, one way. Have to pick origin, choose usa as destination.
nonstop ideally (each segment adds facility fee)

Try a different hubs

Edit forgot about basic economy. Add one carry-on bag

How would I (rookie) find the cheapest United flights, so that I can book one that is just slightly over the amount of my TravelBank balance (which comes only from IHG)? Thanks. (Right now, I have $50 in TB, so I would like to find a $51 flight.)

For look ultra short one-ways (lax-sfo, ord-mke,aus-iah, ...) off-peak periods, months in the future. Use the UA or google map searches

However, $51 is unlikely. pre-Covid the goal was $75-$100

IAH-VCT is $56 one way. Make sure you buy regular economy and not basic economy.

Is that because regular economy is refundable and basic economy is not refundable.

I have read that TravelBank can be used to pay for in-flight wifi. Is that correct? If so, do I make that TravelBank payment online for an upcoming trip?
