While I still wish that there was a little more pop, this redesign has majorly grown on me - serene is the word that comes to mind.

That umbrella is gorgeous - I'd totally buy one. Do you know if the bathrobes are in the same pattern? Regent Phu Quoc uses their own pattern on their bathrobes, and I've been wanting to have one ever since I saw photos of them online.

For the current room rates they are asking they should be able to throw in a free umbrella to keep for every room, no problem at all .

Thanks for the report, the pictures and videos Raynyan - the IC was my go-to place for afternoon tea in Hong Kong (hope they still serve it). The room rates are - as demue mentioned - a bit expensive. But it might well worth it. Like khabah I really like the design of the rooms and the hotels in general.

I live in Korea and have never seen it before. Koreans all want Dyson too lol. Sonia Cheng has 400+ of them across the way and Regent probably should have ponied up for their suites. They're charging pretty much Rosewood money nowadays.

Thank you very much. I have to admit that when I first saw the official photos, they looked simpler and cheaper than the renderings I saw two years ago, but I changed my mind when I saw the rooms in person. It's a very high quality space.

I try to convey that texture in my photos without losing it as much as possible.

This hotel thinks the Regent name puts them back in their heyday when they were an HK top 3 with Pen and MO.
