Recently visited this. Can't say I was overly impressed. One weird thing was that they wouldn't serve me a neat whisky. Had to have a cube of ice in it as that was the rule!

So I can't tell where my Aeromexico flight is flying out of on Wednesday - TBIT or T3 - it seems like they schedule it out of T3 but it sometimes moves to TBIT. I seem to remember reading there's a way (post-security) to get to TBIT and gain access to the Centurion Lounge (since I will not be able to access the Delta Sky Lounge flying on AXM metal). How far of a walk is this? Worth it?

Answered my own question - no current air-side walkable connections between T1-T3 and TBIT - that is very annoying

DL runs a shuttle from T2 to TBIT.

Oh, wow! Had never known, and this is very helpful! Now, I feel kinda stupid leaving T2 & walking over to T4 and reentering security for TBIT flights after all those LAX (anything to avoid the Eagle's nest) connections.

The shuttle may be faster, depending on arriving/departing gate numbers, whether you are heading to the Centurion or just straight to gate, and whether you have preCheck/Clear.

Still worth the walk, to me. Fresh air, no waiting for the bus, no slow ride around the tarmac.

Isn't this pre-security? Or are you talking about Air-side? I know there's a air-side shuttle from TBIT to T3-T1 but its probably not worth it to me...

If it were pre-security it definitely would NOT be worth it either. It's a very easy walk outside unless one has unwieldy luggage (and can't find a cart).

Well - first experience today - a Wednesday morning

The food isnt bad - its not great but it hit the spot for a quick Wednesday lunch

Everything else thoughI dont think people have done it justice on how cramped this lounge feels. I dont know what they were thinking when they designed this place (or maybe they didnt design it). What a mess - the bar area is too tight (and its hot in here). I dont think its super crowded but it feels crowded.

Always fun running into celebrities at the buffet though

Used it a few weeks ago. Wasn't too bad. I had a flight on Delta that got deleayed and there was a long line for the new skyclub (can't wait until they put in the diamond priority lines at all the skyclubs) and took the shuttle over to TBIT to check it out and chedck out TBIT. It is a pretty hike from where the bus drops off at TBIT and can be from the Delta terminal depending on your departure gate. I'd just use the skyclub if there isn't a wait over the Centurion Loung.

Is it possible to enter TBIT first, and then stroll your way over to T6 for an AC departure?

Yes. The only requirement for TSA entry is a boarding pass for same day departure.

I've walked as far as the United terminal afterwards before. The TSA agent usually warns me I'm in the wrong terminal so now I just preemptively tell them I know I'm in the wrong terminal but I'm going to the lounge.
