Thanks to all the comments

I just returned from vacation at the CP Universal and would like to thank all those that reccomended it. The vacation was great and the CP Universal could not have been nicer. The staff and the facilities were top notch in my book.

Thanks again for the comments about the CP on International Drive (where the vacation was originally booked) and the avoidance of the problems.

I spend about 90 nights a year at HI, CP and/or IC locations.
The aforementioned hotel is, as someone mentioned, a black
mark on the name.

I recall the front desk as well as AC problem, as well as others.

So if this site is managed, hopefully this message can be carried back:
You're best customers hate this place!

Attention: IC Moderator!

You can't stop employees of this lousy CP (even village idiots posting as "Floridafun" - - maybe the G.M.) from replying to this forum. But, IC can take note of the fact that it is, and will be, losing hundreds of customers who frequent this forum and travel to Orlando. So, IC should do the right thing here and investigate this Orlando CP, sweep out the surly staff (And G.M.) , and start anew.

Another dumpy Crowne Plaza is the Westshore Tampa CP.... old, poor lighting, threadbare carpet in the rooms, and an uncomfortable bed. It's just a sad hotel.

WELL so far I've spent about $3000 on hotel bills since this HORRID hotel stole money from me...and not a dollar at an Inter-Continental Hotel.

This hotel has a terrible reputation among the community. I discussed this property with other guests and workers in the Orlando community and received at least four similiar stories.

Something is really rotten at the top here, and Intercontinental needs to hold these renegade individuals responsible for tarnishing the good Crowne Plaza name.

They must just be barely making money here and will attempt to steal even one night from you if they can get away with it.

I bet that most ten year olds know that Orlando is a city that would be prone to repeat visits. The individuals who run this property do not seem to care. How incompetent can they be?
