Route (Please bold if failure): JFK-SEA
Flight Number: 1069
Status (MVP, Gold or 75K): 75K
Fare Class: No idea. R fare
Add companion, if there was one: MVPG
Time the upgrade cleared or position on waitlist if didn't clear: Both upgraded at T-120
Date of ticket purchase: December 6th, 2019
A321 service JFK-SEA. Upgraded at ~T-120 hours, selected 4A & 4C as only pair not on the bulkhead. Arrived in JFK from HKG about 45 minutes after OLCI opened. Aircraft was downgraded to preconfigured A320 N363VA. We were moved to 1A & 1C gray recliners. Surprisingly, all 8 first class seats were functional, albeit filthy. Made the best of it. Happy they supply blankets on the transcons; something clean to sit on.
James
Side Note: Full TSA Precheck at T7 was awesome. I had an open bottle of water from HKIA that I forgot to take out of my backpack. TSA Agent analyzed it and gave it back to me. I was shocked.

#1 and #2 on UG list at T-24 with 5 open seats
Date of ticket purchase 12/27/2019
Got totally screwed on the upgrade. We were #1 and #2 on the upgrade list at T-24. I literally watched as one by one 5 folks below us on the list got upgraded, disappeared from the upgrade list, their premium seats opened up. 3 seats left about T-24, and one by one they disappeared, final one at T-2, all to people below us on the list. When boarding was announced, we were the only ones who boarded in group A. Alaska totally screws you over if you are two elites on one PNR

FLight 822 OGG-PDX 1/30 Red Eye. Upgraded yesterday. I had gotten the upgrade for my return (flight 863 from PDX to OGG on Sunday) the day before.
Edited to add my status: 75k. Not sure what fare class I bought into, but it was the cheapest main fare I could find.

AS 628 SEA-JFK
MVP
Fare Class: R
Date of ticket purchase sometime in late 2019 with a half price fare (this ended up being like $80 one way)
Are you kidding me? Premium seats were full the week before. 8th right now on WL (it'll get worse). 5 open seats in F. Right now very happy with 10C on an A321.

Two traveling on separate PNRs, one cleared at T-2
Question: My SO and I are on separate PNRs, and on the outbound I got upgraded but on the inbound she got upgraded. How did this happen? I have about 800 more EQM from 2019, and her last name is before me alphabetically. Seems so random.
