Cool New Onboard: Moscow Mule

Had this last week.

Saw it advertised in the magazine and seatback card in F.

Tasty ^

Thanks AS for mixing it up.

My wife had one toward the beginning of the month. I can't remember if it was advertised or not, but she thought it tasted pretty good too!

Pleasant surprise. Add margaritas and I'll be in heaven.

Is it premixed (as pictured)? If so, who makes it?

Nope not a pre-mix. They use Cutwater ginger beer and Titos vodka.

Also available in economy. Theyve had them since at least December. Oddly enough, they dont carry ginger beer in the Alaska lounge, so you cant get a mule on the ground... go figure

Can you get the ginger beer sans booze? I'm on board with that.

Cutwater Ginger beer does appear to be non-alcohol (some Ginger beers contain alcohol) so I dont see any reason why you couldn't order it alone.

Also I suppose you could order any mule-variations - Kentucky Mule (bourbon) is my favorite

Having one now in PC - for this flight it's Powell and Mahoney ginger beer. Nice and spicy, would also be good for a run at a Dark and Stormy.

I have seen these on my flights since early January but thought they were made with bourbon or whiskey. Now that I know they are using Tito's Vodka I will have to give them a try on my next trip.
