Anyone know if this hotel considered a Westin for the purposes of the current brand promo ? It says Westin only vaguely on the website and I thought it was not branded that way anymore ?

I haven't stayed here in awhile, does the hotel still waive the destination fee for platinum members?

Very good to know. I now need to claim back my fee already paid for last weeks stay!

A day after contacting the hotel, they confirmed the destination fee is waived for Platinum and Titanium (apparently my charge was an oversight by the person who checked me out) and was processed for refund.

Must say without the destination fee, this hotel is a fabulous deal with rates as low as $87 for the cheapest room during the holiday period.

And Platinum benefit is full breakfast for 2 persons - a very rustic decent spread - at MoSa. And my SNAs for two separate nights cleared at T-5.

Do you have the GMs email? I want to book a pre-paid rate but it is obviously charging the $39 destination fee. I'd like to confirm it will be waived (and understand how for pre-paid rates). Thanks!

Thanks. They got back to me straight away. For everyone's edification, if you book a prepaid rate you simply email their billing dept with your conf# and they will remove destination fee and charge you appropriate amount. So it won't involve a credit.

Also - for those traveling to SF, Park Central is offering a deal where you get 3,000 points per night and 20% off rates until May 18 (Fri or Sat night required): Code MRP:

Leaving Marriott effective Dec. 18 2021

I just received an email cancelling my reservation for June 2021 saying:

.....Effective December 18th, 2021, the hotel will no longer be associated with Marriott. Your reservation will be relocated to The Clancy Autograph Collection which is in proximity and comparable to the hotel you originally booked. .....

I assume what is meant is 2020 and I asked for clarification. Waiting for a reply.
