Allegedly TSA has new streamlined & enhanced screening procedures
I can't figure out what they are but Pekoske is apparently claiming it is so:

US media is so worthless. The TSA has "newly created" this Lombard street chart, therefore the TSA has "new streamlined and enhanced screening." The same media the every year touts the "new" Real ID requirements even though TSA has been threatening to deny various state licenses for over a decade...
You think someone would actually the validate the "newness" claim BEFORE they report it...

Is this chart new? I see it mentions BDO's as part of TSA's security. Thought TSA was essentially told to halt that program.
Will be looking for more detail. I think most here would agree that the screening process is overly bulky.

I have seen TSA gate checks in way more recent years too. Greatly reducing gate checks was done years ago, but the TSA has never eliminated them entirely. I wouldnt be surprised if they still have gate check screening drills.

Is this what I have been experiencing at SEA lately?
If so, prepare to be pleasantly surprised. At security: no bins, nothing removed from bags (no liquids, no laptops, no nothing), shoes stay on. Just put bags on the belt and step through the machine.

Depends on the entry point. Checkpoint 5 is TSA-Pre only and have the upgraded belts with bin system, with automatic return of the bins back to the other side.. I do think that during peak times, SEA and other smaller airports are more likely to cut a few corners to get more passengers through the checkpoint. Just proves the whole security theater is a joke for the most part and not very effective. Then there's other airports like ORD that do the opposite to make sure the line goes slow and does excessive swabbing to inconveniences travelers.
