Any idea when the next air Canada Europe seat sale is for YOW-GVA?

Wondering if anyone has any idea when the next air Canada Europe seat sale is going to be. Didn't book last fall when the tickets were <$800 and am now kicking myself as I want to take the kids to see their grandfather over Easter. Any ideas out there?

No idea, but I suspect around Easter would have low probability of a sale due to increased demand for tickets around holidays.

They're coming! I spoke with an AC agent about one of my summer Europe bookings and he told me there were a bunch of schedule changes on the file and that they'd be working through them soon...

I just noticed my TATL is leaving Europe 20 minutes earlier, but I feel like that's not significant enough to move the flight by 7 days

I've pushed gently and gotten a free change when a sched. was 10min earlier leaving from YYZ before, but arrival schedule was unaffected.

If they say "x" is an immaterial time change, remind them that if you miss a flight by that same amount of time, it is certainly material. "If it is immaterial, can you note my ticket that doors will stay open by this extra time in case I arrive just before the original depart time?"

"I am working a shift before the flight and am unable to leave work any earlier."

"I can't arrive 10min earlier that day due to transport option, train starting time, hotel shuttle operating on the hour starting at " x", nexus border crossing opening time, etc."

"Arriving on XYZ carrier on separate ticket and I won't meet the min. connecting time anymore, so it's a material difference to me"

"Should I put my wife on the line? She keeps screaming saying how HUGE of a deal a few more minutes on....stuff....is."

The one you quoted seems to be a very useful one. Easy enough to get people's sympathy

Just pointing out for those who may not post here but have the same question.

erolland

Since your thread was the most recent one I found where the question about sale fares to Europe was asked.......

1. No one has an idea when there will be a sale. If and when AC announces a sale, that's when it appears.

2. Some people are constantly looking for what they consider great fares to their preferred destinations, using Google Flights, ITA Matrix, Air Canada's own website, OTAs etc.

3. Then you have things like these on the FT Premium Fares thread. And yes, not all are TO Europe.

(Note Fare Deal threads are always in USD unless otherwise specified)

Then, pretty quickly, the bloggers re-post

Amazing: ~$900 Business Class Fares From The US To Europe On Air Canada

AUGUST 27, 2017 BY LUCKY

"This likely won’t last, so you’ll want to book ASAP if you’re interested. At the moment Air Canada has some crazy good business class fares from the US to Europe, which seem to be valid through the end of the schedule."

EDIT to add:
