I asked at check-in.
I haven't added this to the wiki in case it was a one-off; my question created a bit of confusion among the reception staff.
So it would be good if someone else could confirm.

I can confirm the procedure is valid and correct (as per my last stay in February). Like always, not 100% of staff have full knowledge of how to handle clients with status ( worldwide and will all brands...)

Received a Diamond welcome letter confirming breakfast buffet daily for two people.

What is deeply troubling is the inconstancies just between Hilton’s for Gold and Diamond as it relates for Breakfast. For example for many years as Gold every time we stayed at the Hilton Times Square we would get Coupons for all of us (2 adults 2 kids) for the Full Breakfast. At the Hilton Logan Airport, Full breakfast for only days executive floor was closed, otherwise just 2 non hot buffet.
This year we reached Diamond and with a pending stay 1st at Hilton prop as Diamond at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront (just 2 of us), and from what I seen thus far and please someone let me know via a recent stay, it’s not the Full Breakfast even for Diamonds? I realize the “letter of the law” as they say, but I’d rather have all the Hilton's be consistent (full/non-full how many etc) then different rules for same properties different locations. I won’t even ask about upgrades between properties. I'm 2nd guessing my Diamond value just on this pending trip.

Wiki suggests that Golds get continental breakfast buffet at Chicago Hilton Suites/Magnificent Mile. Is that still true and hotel-specific, or outdated information? I've had horrible luck getting free breakfast as a Gold lately.

Diamond member. Full breakfast at restaurant or executive lounge for both me and my spouse. The breakfast offering at the restaurant was surprisingly good, definitely comparable to the few Hilton/Conrads in Asia that I stayed in this past year.

In the Wiki it states only free breakfast in lounge which has also been my experience.

I asked at the check in desk downstairs and at the Executive Lounge and both personnel stated that I can have my breakfast either places. My spouse and I are big breakfast people so I was contemplating to pay extra to have a bigger and better breakfast anyway so it's nice to get it with no extra charge. The evening food spread at the Executive Lounge was also surprisingly good. They keep replenishing the food even till the last minute (around 8pm). I stayed here 10 years ago and think the hotel was good but didn't expect them to be even better now with all the trouble the Greece economy is having.

Voucher for $19 Continental breakfast in either main building or Executive Tower. Full buffet is $23. So, the upcharge remains the same while the base price has gone up (now reflected in the Wiki).

Many Hiltons have an option to apply the value of the Continental to a regular menu item. This did as well, but I was told that it is being discontinued.

As the voucher still listed this in the T&Cs on the back, we were still able to do it.

I was told that the buffet in the main building has more choices in the Executive Tower, but I can't substantiate this as we ate in the Executive Tower both mornings.
