WN begins LAX INTL service

WN starting 1x daily LAX-LIR in April of next year.

Still in the proposed stage, not actually on sale just yet in case anybody tries to look for it on the website.

I wonder if they intend to transfer any current SNA-SJD/PVR/MEX flights over to LAX also similar to how SAT-MEX was turned over to HOU-MEX in yesterday's update.

It will be interesting to see if this puts much price pressure on DL's LAX-LIR (738) and LAX-SJO (757) flights.

Seems like it, at 2,627, it would be 180 miles longer than 2,447-mile BWI-OAK/OAK-BWI, which WN corporate states is their current longest flight.

I've done LAX-BWI and OAK-BWI. No guarantee of sleep on any plane, especially with Devolve...

Since WN does not do redeyes, it would have to be a daytime turn.

Bummer! Why they can't have a red eye flight? Those customers who want to flying redeye flight. They will get in the morning. They can sleep on the plane.
