OT: BBC R4 segment on compensation

In Moneybox, about to start on Radio 4. Should be available later as podcast or iPlayer.

Apparently about CAA rules that may make claiming compensation easier.

Will Mr Calder appear ...

Available online at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06bcst6.

Starts at 8m50s with discussion of Ryanair's reluctance to pay up.

Followed by a more general segment at 12m45s on CAA ruling that (AIUI) failure of a part before its scheduled end-of-life / service date is not 'exceptional' and therefore not a get out from payment for the carrier, although an unexpected maintenance / airworthiness directive could be.
