DAHL Fund Fundraiser: LUFTHANSA Junkers Ju52 Experience & 825th HAMBURG Port Festival

A few more details on the day in FRA.....
The winner will go on a tour of LH Hangars 4/5 and 7. Depending on the day's logistics, we'll be able to board A330/340, 744, 748 and A380 aircraft as available. Its always interesting to see these planes behind the scenes during maintenance and overhaul sessions.
We'll also visit the 'secret' Frankfurt Archives in the basement of T2 For a look at some wonderful nostalgia from FRA and airliners in general.
Additionally, if time/logistics permit we will visit LH Cargo's ramp to take a look aboard a new 777F should one be on the ramp, Otherwise there are MD-11s around to appreciate!
If the winner is an avgeek, we'll certainly include some plane spotting from the T2 Observation area and the Affenfelsen observation deck along runway 18.

Thank you all for your support of the Capt. Jason Dahl Scholarship. We received news that we are the 6th largest aviation scholarship in the country. Our secondary goal is to keep Capt. Dahl's memory and love of flying alive. You all have made it happen. In the last few years Flyer Talk has donated over $77,000 to our future aviators.
Currently we are at $11,125 with a few more days to go.

AN UPDATE FROM CAPT DENNY (He's currently flying to EWR):
"So far we have raised $11,675 during this fundraiser.
59 donors have contributed including people from Germany, Bulgaria, Norway, Poland, Wales and Australia.
This will help the Dahl Fund give away 18 Scholarships this year. Currently the fund has $341,000 in their scholarship fund. In 2013 we raised $68,000."
Looks like 2014 is off to a great start for the Dahl Fund!
