I don't have any free passes but I definitely don't mind paying $100 (me and SO) to check it out.

I went to the lounge yesterday (4/14) at around 5:15 pm, some comments:
(1)it is described as being near gate D4--IMHO, a better description would be as you enter the D1-D12 gate complex, it is immediately to the left [gate D4 is the closest numbered gate, but not that close.]
(2)the dcor is very nice, and they have some nice hot dishes, and sandwiches--but nothing spectacular. The deserts consisted of brownies and chocolate chip cookies, which they did not restock too often. Their liquor selection is mediocre and you must request it from the bar person (there are other airline lounges which have self-service liquor^.)

[The man ahead of me tried entering the lounge based on his One World status (AA system), they wanted him to pay $50, he wound up talking to a supervisor--I don't know if he was allowed in without paying.]

Likely a local legal requirement, prohibiting self-serve.

It sounds like he has American Airlines confused with American Express.

I also visited for the first time yesterday and today (4/17). Overall a very impressive lounge with nice areas to plug in and work and good food selection. The staff are nice and friendly.

Please note that hot breakfast items aren't put out until 6AM, the cold stuff is out when they open at 5AM. That was a bit of a bummer for me as I had a 6AM flight.

Oh... and they said that multiple visits within a 24 hour period are considered one visit (they don't have to check you in again) for those of you paying or have a limited number of free visits allowed. Luckily I was given unlimited until 12/31 on my Amex Plat.

Has anyone had any experience with presenting a Southwest boarding pass at the D checkpoint? I know the official policy is that I should have access to any concourse but reality doesn't always match.

How were the breakfast selections that you saw?

I'm booked on an early afternoon flight and wouldn't mind camping out here if it's as good as people say.

I was comped unlimited visits through the end of the year (no idea why - Reserve Card?) and tried it the morning of 4/16. The buffet breakfast was good. They had a variety of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and a fritatta, potatoes with sausage, muffins, bagels and a few other items. Did not take advantage of the bar at that hour, but the coffee was good.

The atmosphere was pleasant, the bathroom was clean and the personnel were helpful.

The foliage on the entrance wall is real.

While I don't consider it worth $50, I will certainly use it until the end of the year.

As I mentioned, hot items weren't out yet for breakfast, so it was only cereal, fruit, yogurt, and some pastries. The hot items sound good (check out the menu). The Lunch/Dinner items were available when I arrived the evening before and were quite good.

No luck with access today - had asked Amex Plat support here in the UK (as vouchers only went out to US cardholders) and they said to try asking as they thought they might let you in - sadly (albeit not surprisingly) no luck! Had a juice, banana and a danish in the LAS Club instead! (handy to get a free guest there, one of the few perks of the UK card)

Centurion Lounge Time of food service.

Anyone know what time the food service runs? For $50 it would be a shame if there is no buffet if you enter at a time in between service

Breakfast 6am - 11am??
Lunch 11am to 1pm ??
Dinner - 5pm to 8pm??

Or do they serve hot food all day? I'm flying in and out at around 10pm. Can I pick up a hot dinner at that time?

Centurion Lounge at LAS

Arrived around 11:30, and they have been serving lunch items (chicken and potato dish, mac-n-cheese, as well as roast beef sandwiches). Food is quite good as far as buffet fare goes. Club has been busy, but not particularly crowded. As with my previous visit, service has been excellent.

I'm typing this from the lounge as we speak, and I'm flying Southwest... You can get to the D concourse from the C gates, it's just not the most convenient walk, but that's what I did. Just ask around, to point you in the right area -- there's a secure door that TSA will open for you and then I took a tram into the D concourse.

A little bird told me DFW is the next location to get a Centurion lounge (in 2013), followed by NYC (JFK?) then SFO...

In the Centurion lounge now...didn't get the comped passes with my Plat card so I paid up. Lunch was a variety of salad items (mixed greens, quinoa, etc), some great mac and cheese, roasted chicken, sandwiches and the salted caramel budino for dessert. For us it worked out as the casinos kick you out at Noon and we have a 4 PM flight. Would have had to buy lunch somewhere which offsets the cost quite a bit. If you have a few hours to kill and time it with a meal it is a pretty good value...very nice layout, quiet and comfortable.
