I am flying with a colleague that has a new Amex Plat. I know little about the card, but reading up on it.
We are flying BOS-FRA-BCN and VCE-MUC-BOS on LH, can we get any lounge access with it?

Does anyone know how hard and fast the flying-this-airline rule is with AA and DL lounges? I'm flying out of SAN on 5/21 on US, which doesn't have a lounge there. I'd like to relax in one of the other two. Do they have any discretion at all about waiving the boarding pass requirement with Amex Plat, or am I pretty much buying a day pass?

On LH, the Plat doesn't get you lounges except via Priority Pass. And then it's only for the cardholder - guests are an extra $27 USD. Your colleague must have the actual Priority Pass card while traveling, which he/she can get by calling Amex.

If one has the Platinum (Personal) with an assigned Priority Pass already then also has a Business Platinum, can one assign that second PP under spouse's name?

Airspace Lounge Cleveland is now open and is a part of American Express' Lounge Access Program. Just like Airspace Lounge BWI, members and their guests are entitled to a complimentary choice from our menu including sandwiches, cheese plate, hot breakfast sandwiches, etc. See the lounge's post-security location here; Airspace is accessible to every CLE gate.

Two guests are permitted at AA, DL, US and Airspace lounges where you use the Platinum card itself for admission. However, when you use Priority Pass for admission only the cardholder is free, there is a $27 fee per guest per visit. (This may be different if your American Express card account is issued outside the USA.)
