A bit off-topic, but I found this intriguing and funny. Received a "reminder" e-mail from IHG about the 1000 points every night promotion going on through September 3, 2012. The graphic on the web-site is a photograph of Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley. Unfortunately, IHG doesn't have a property anywhere near here; closest property is in Lima, Peru, 640 miles away!

My interpretation is that until June 1 you only got 1000points/night
from June 1 until Sept. 3 you get 1000/night + 250/stay and once
you have got 20k for 20 nights you will still get 250/stay

Your interpretation matches with what I have received. For the eligable stays during may, I received the 1000 points per night; on the stays of June, I received 1000 per night plus 250 points per stay
