Really? Never happened to me. Do you know what makes these ecerts so special?

Does anyone know how to use the e-voucher from customer service on the new site?

New site has no place for this, as far as I can see.

It asks for Offer Code, but when I entered e-cert number, I got a message

united.com was unable to retrieve the rule(s) pertaining to the program at this time. Please contact united.com Support at 1-800-396-1751 for assistance in redeeming your eCertificate offer.

I'm using 20% off e-cert.

I would like to know this too. I have an e-cert expiring in a few months, and would like to book my travel soon. But I can't seem to apply it via the new/CO site.

You're supposed to be able to enter the 1016... number in the offer code box.

Correct, for dollar-off e-cert only.

However, I was able to apply it on one-way domestic itinerary on UA site.

But new UA site today won't take it, saying round trip only.

Bummer... should have booked it yesterday.

Yes, that works. Then on the flight choices screen there is this message:

Note: Look for the for fares eligible for your offer. The discount is not applied in the prices shown.

Got this message when attempting to use on a one-way:

! The type of itinerary entered is not valid for this promotion. To see the terms and conditions of the promotional program, see Promotional Program Details. Please change the itinerary type (i.e. round trip, one way, or multiple destination) or remove the offer code entered to proceed.
I'm going to miss being able to use the "Search by Price" feature (if it's truly gone - I'd be happy to be corrected!) to use ecerts on multi-city itins.

Multi-city search is also NOT allowed if you try to use e-cert.

Where are you finding the correct place to enter the code? I find 3 options on the payment page. 1. Nothing to redeem. 2. Redeem a gift certifcate.
3. Redeem a travel certificate. This one then asks for a PIN. I tried both, none of which work. Am I doing something wrong?

I have a $ off and can't get it to work. In which box did you enter your code?

Yep. I can confirm it's working for me if I do it at the payment screen.
