Hello - I've had the opportunity to beta-test the new CO upgrade functionality on KVS. Here are my comments
Despite this however, I find the addition of this small feature to be one of the most valuable capabilities of KVS tool. In the past it took me hours and hours to manually click through 4-5 screens for each single date on the CO.com website. KVS reduces this to a couple of clicks and makes it quite easy. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to search for CO award availability online.
- Overall this is an excellent feature and is much highly appreciated. With a couple of clicks you can search a city pair for award availability on CO.com.
- Only a single date can be searched at a time. This is very similar to the other screens on KVS. It would be nice if a whole range of dates can be searched at once. Since the searches can take up to 60 secs, this requires being in front of the computer to manually change the dates. In my case, I wanted to look for award openings for an entire month period. This took me about me about 5 mins for each city-pair using KVS (vs 60 mins using the manual method). However KVS does make it easy to search sequential dates (forward or backward) using the down and up arrow keys buttons on the Awards/Upgrade tabs.
- UA code shares flights are not visible, only CO flights. They are visible however using the Star Alliance search.

Please note that the existing [ITA: Upgrades/CO] Method is temporarily unavailable, due to the yesterday's changes in the CO engine.
A new [ITA: Awards-Upgrades/CO] Method will be released shortly and will include full CO Award & Upgrade Availability (incl. R/I/FN/FE/ZN/ZE/YN/HN/X/XN Booking Classes).
Here is a 'sneak preview':
