Thanks for the TR - I went on the same routing earlier this month - skied in Breckenridge and Vail. Very similar experiences on our flights to yours - same inbound menu but different outbound. I slept until 30 mins before landing on the way home and ignored the on-board breakfast. In answer to the question above there is no dessert wine in Club but Port is available I think.

Thanks for the TR. I am sure it takes a fair bit of effort to write, organise, transcibe. It is appreciated.

@Botham: What dessert wines did you get in F? You can get port wine in CW (on request).
There were two dessert wines on each menu, but on the inbound they had neither. They were possibly the same two on both legs. One was D'Arenberg The Noble Mud Pie 2008 and the other Jackson-Triggs Vidal Icewine 2007

The Iris channels were all closed, and Southdowns asked a UKBA man about them, and his answer suggested they weren't in use any more.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write this TR. My husband and I will be doing our first CW next month (award tickets, thanks to tips I've learnt here on FlyerTalk). It'll be your route in reverse, so it's been most interesting and helpful. I'm looking forward to enjoying the lounges--previously we've only had gate upgrades to CW in the days before the flat beds.

If IRIS has been removed, I do hope it hasn't been replaced by those ....... automated gates that match your passport photo to your face.
